E-A-R's complete lines of specialty urethane and vinyl foams and cushioning materials combine high performance energy absorption with excellent physical properties.

Typical applications include compression set-resistant gaskets, low-load crash stops in precision equipment, protective padding in orthopedic devices and ergonomic cushioning in wheelchair seats. Materials range from foams to solids. They are available in a continuum of densities, thicknesses and stiffnesses.

We also can produce formulations customized for specific dynamic properties, such as recovery rate, damping or resilience, as well as for various physical and strength characteristics.

E-A-R's ISOLOSS® LS foam is a microcellular urethane that absorbs shock energy and resists compression set. CONFOR® viscoelastic urethane responds to temperature and weight with self-adjusting, conforming support. Low-density, low-set SuperSheet™ materials resist air and water penetration when compressed 50 to 80 percent, an ideal property for gaskets and seals.
